This presentation shares the findings of a strategic knowledge management initiative undertaken at McGill University Libraries to better understand and align its internal information practices, including the skills and resources needed to undertake the project and best practices for building resilient information practices in today’s continually changing library ecosystem.
Cette présentation expose les résultats d’une initiative stratégique de gestion des connaissances menée aux Bibliothèques de l’Université McGill afin de mieux comprendre et harmoniser les pratiques internes de gestion de l’information. Elle abordera notamment les compétences et les ressources nécessaires à la réalisation du projet ainsi que les pratiques exemplaires permettant de développer des pratiques informationnelles résilientes dans un écosystème des bibliothèques en constante évolution.

Nikki Tummon
Nikki Tummon is a liaison librarian at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and supports the Departments of Sociology and Anthropology, as well as the School of Social Work. She is the project lead for the McGill Libraries’ Knowledge Management Project.
Cheryl Smeall
Cheryl Smeall is the Lending & Access Manager at the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and is a member of the McGill Libraries’ Knowledge Management Project. As Chair of the Lending & Access Services Committee, she leads and facilitates change across all McGill Libraries.
Graeme Langdon
Graeme Langdon is the Supervisor of McGill Libraries’ Schulich Library of Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Engineering. He is a member of the McGill Libraries’ Knowledge Management Working Group and has led organizational change in leadership positions in public and school library systems.
